Interesting choice of headline news on Channel 7 tonight. Sure there is a major hurricane causing untold damage in the US, but why report that when locally we have our own weather problems? Yes, the headline news was the fact that a slightly more-wild-than-usual storm moved in over Adelaide in the last few hours. The damage? A few tress down, but, more seriously, a shed was blown over in Pt Lincoln.
Apparently this is sooo important, no-one has bothered to report it online (not even our local network), INCLUDING Seven's own website. I'm sure it will be put up as soon as further life and death scenarios arise, like, lets say a kitten gets half-drown in the sewer before the SAMFS managed to finally rescue it....
At least the hurricane did get second billing.
